For the price it's absolutely fine. Edges where the blade meets the handle were square and uncomfortable but can easily be smoothed with the back of a knife as the wood is soft. As mentioned by others, some of the boer blades are probably slightly better at this price point. For beginners, get something cheap like this with some cheap rubbers and work on your technique, perfectly acceptable for that purpose

great control; extremely good value for a very usable good bat with good build quality; looks good; about 80grms weight. Solid choice for a spare or starter bat. Pair it with some decent rubbers and you've got a very low cost set up that plays well.
